Darrel Anderson is president of Conformance Technologies and on the InfoSecure Board of Advisors. A sought after consultant and industry expert, Anderson has more than 25 years experience in the payments and privacy industries. He has provided advice and guidance to some of the largest processors, gateways and retail merchants in the world.

Previously, Darrel held the position of executive vice president with CSR, a consulting company, and was senior vice president, strategic partnerships with TSYS, a worldwide payment processor and merchant acquirer.

Darrel also served as vice president of sales for SITEL Worldwide, a global business process outsourcing leader. He also held a number of senior level positions with the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, a leading North American financial institution, including management roles in issuing, acquiring, payments, product development, marketing and channel management, and was selected as a chairman’s award winner three times – the only employee to achieve this honor.

While working in the Caribbean, Darrel developed a number of independent sales organizations and generated business in 11 countries. He was instrumental in creating the first touch screen ABM program in the region and developed the first linked debit switching systems between banks in the West Indies. Darrel was a member of the board of directors of CARIFS (Caribbean Integrated Financial Systems Network) and of CariCard Services Ltd., the largest independent credit card processing corporation in the Caribbean.

Anderson is a fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers, a fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute and a fellow of the European Privacy Association. Through the International Association of Privacy Professionals, he holds both the CIPP/C and CIPP/US designations. He is active in the Electronic Transaction Association (ETA) community, holding the Certified Payments Professional (CPP) designation, and has been a panelist, program speaker and session leader at ETA events, as well as a volunteer on ETA committees. Anderson has also been a featured speaker at National Retail Federation CFO forums, is a Direct Marketing Association (DMA) guru, and has served the United Way as a cabinet member in the Leadership Giving Program.
